Biography
Alin focuses her law practice exclusively in family law. Alin has particular expertise in litigation, serving high-net worth individuals with complex assets or compensation, as well as international clients. Alin appears regularly in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. When practicing in Alberta, Alin appeared at all levels of the Alberta courts on motions, trials, and appeals.
Alin understands that her clients rely on her advice amidst some of the most difficult times in their lives. She strives towards long-lasting resolutions and to reduce the anxiety inherent in family law disputes. While often the most efficient strategy involves a thorough exploration of resolution options, where out-of-court settlement is not viable, Alin tenaciously fights for her clients. Throughout her career, Alin has cultivated skills that are advantageous in highly contested matters, and essential to successful negotiations.

While earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary, she was awarded the Borden Ladner Gervais Trial Advocacy grant and chosen as one of five Provincial Court Clerkship Students. Upon being call to the Alberta bar in 2016, Alin practiced criminal defence at a boutique defence firm until her decision to focus on the practice of family law and child welfare in 2017. Since being call to the Ontario bar in 2020, Alin has continued to focus her practice exclusively on family law.
