Biography

I practice exclusively family law and help clients with smart, practical, and effective solutions tailored to each family. I work efficiently and focused on a positive outcome, whether negotiating a separation agreement or helping navigate the adoption process. I understand the importance of clear communication in a family law matter and make sure that my clients are involved in each step of the process. I have experience in all types of family law processes, including negotiations, mediation, legal coaching, and collaborative divorce and offer my clients a wide range of options to choose from.

I had an acrimonious divorce that was very stressful, but Katelynn patiently explained procedural and legal matters to me in detail and made the experience so much better. She took the time to intimately familiarize herself with the details of my case and was always available and responsive when I needed her.

I work with clients in all aspects of divorce and separation, including support, property division, and parenting. I also advise clients on marriage contracts and cohabitation agreements, which range from straightforward to sophisticated contracts.

I help families with adoptions and represent both adoptive parents and biological parents. I also advise clients on contracts for Assistive Reproductive Technologies, such as egg, sperm, or embryo donation agreements.

I have sat on boards of local community organizations supporting families and am involved in access to justice programs that help people navigate the family law system toward a better outcome. I enjoy acting as a legal coach for individuals representing themselves in their family law matter.
