Congratulations to Llana Nakonechny

The partners of Dickson Appell LLP are thrilled to announce that, on December 13, 2018, our esteemed colleague Llana Nakonechny was appointed to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice by the federal justice minister, the Honourable Jody Wilson-Raybould. Llana will be replacing Justice F.P. Kiteley, who is elected to become a supernumerary judge.
About Llana Nakonechny & Her Career
Llana Nakonechny began her distinguished legal career with her articles in the Ottawa firm of Aiken Greenberg and continued in Toronto at Lang Michener. In 1999, she joined the all-woman law firm of Dickson Appell LLP where she served her family and estates law clients with compassion, wisdom and great skill. She also educated generations of new lawyers at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. Llana brought wit and humour to the legal community with her involvement in the arts and fundraising. She has been involved in countless charitable organizations and currently is chair of the Foundation Committee of Casey House.
